Swettenham Stud Inglis Draft Yearling Parade Cancellation

The Swettenham Stud Operations team has made the decision to cancel the scheduled Parade of Yearlings, for Sunday 15th Feb 2015, at the Stud.
The entire draft of 50 yearlings are instead scheduled to arrive earlier than anticipated to Oaklands Junction on Monday 23rd of February, with parades commencing on Tuesday 24th of February.
“We hadn’t anticipated the level of interest that the event generated, and to avoid any incidents involving juvenile horses and large crowds, we felt that it was in the best interests of the yearlings to wait until the pre-sales days at Oaklands to parade the draft.” Said Adam Sangster.
“We apologise for the short notice as we are aware that many people had made arrangements for the day.”
The Swettenham Stud 2014 draft was awarded the Best Presented Draft of the 2014 Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale and featured first crop yearlings by Dual Group 1 winning stallion Equiano.
Again with meticulous preparation, and not leaving anything to chance, the 2015 draft which will feature first crop TJ Smith Winning Stallion - Master of Design yearlings, it is hoped will again come in to consideration for this award.
