Incision - Sharp On Australia Day

Incision well and truly out classed his rivals at the iconic Australian Day meeting at Hanging Rock.

Breaking his maiden in the TAC Be Ready Plate over 1000m, he was the short priced popular favourite amongst a big crowd of racegoers on track.

Ridden by Daniel Moor, Incision jumped well and was driven forward to take the lead. He skipped away from the pack to be comfortably two lengths clear throughout the race.

Turning from home, his lead had increased to three lengths and without any challenges late, Moor had an easy ride saluting on the line.

Speaking to Incision’s trainer Paul Banks from Cloud 9 Thoroughbreds he was feeling very confident going into todays race.

After galloping Incision on Monday morning he turned to his co-worker, Smiley and asked “How much money do you have in the bank? I’d put it all on and you will double it!”

Apparently even the stable cat backed Incision today.

I am looking forward to Incision progressing through the provincials, Banks commented, believing there are bigger and better things to come.

A 3 year old gelding by Redoute’s Choice blue blood, Master of Design he is out of the well bred mare, Cos Snip (Snippets).

Incision was a $70k yearling purchase at the 2015 Inglis Premier sales by Cloud 9 Thoroughbreds.

We congratulate the co-breeders Contract Racing and Musk Creek Farm, and owners Tru Blu Bloodstock (Mgr: S Pethybridge) and Bernie Park Racing (Mgr: A M Ryan) on Incisions win and wish them all the best for continued success.
